Why I walk

I walk for my niece Journey! She was born at 24 weeks old only weighing 1lb 10 oz. She stayed in the NICU for 4 months before coming home, still on a feeding tube. Watching her grow into this beautiful little girl has been the best part of my life. She was truly the miracle baby God promised us. My sister was on bed rest for almost her entire pregnancy and Journey still came early. She is now a happy and healthy 3 year old full of life and attitude, with no health issues.

Additionally I now walk for myself and my son Khai.  Pregnancy is harder than I ever expected, it's beautiful but stressful. You constantly wonder if you're doing everything to ensure a healthy full term baby is born. So I walk for all the babies born to soon and all the babies waiting to be born.

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
