In 2013, after a close family friend delivered twin boys at 28 weeks, I decided to transfer to nursing school with the goal of becoming a NICU nurse. I was able to land my dream job at Brigham and Women’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in 2017, and never looked back. Without a doubt, this is the most rewarding and inspiring job I have had.
Fast forward 10 years, in 2023, one of my best friends delivered her son at 29 weeks. Taking care of Henry, reminded me just how much I love this career I’ve chosen.
This year, I march for all the babies who have graduated from our NICU after short stays, half-year stays, and everything in between. I March for all of our families who didn't get the chance to take their precious babies home with them. I march for my friends and co-workers who became NICU moms themselves and showed me strength and resiliency that is beyond words.

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
