As a premature baby born at just 4 lbs. 3 oz.—alongside my identical twin at 4 lbs. 5 oz.—the mission of March of Dimes is deeply personal to me. I am here today because of the kind of research, advocacy, and care that March of Dimes has championed for decades. This organization has been a beacon of hope for countless families like mine, and supporting their work is one of the most meaningful ways I honor my own story.
Today, my life and career are devoted to advancing health equity, especially for historically underserved and marginalized communities. The fight to ensure that every baby is born healthy and every mother receives equitable care continues—and March of Dimes is at the heart of that fight.
It brings me so much joy that my beloved Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has proudly partnered with March of Dimes for over 50 years. Our shared commitment to maternal and infant health reflects the very best of what sisterhood and service can achieve together.
I walk not only as a survivor, but as an advocate, a twin, a professional, and a Zeta. Your donation supports groundbreaking research, vital programs, and the hope that every baby—no matter where they’re born or who they are—has a fighting chance.
Thank you for supporting a cause that is not only close to my heart, but one that helped it keep beating.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
