Why I march

I participate because of several family members that were born premature but today is for my great niece "Harper" who was born at 30 weeks old. She weighed 2lbs 8oz and was 16.5in at birth on 2/11/14. She spent 38 days in the NICU and by the grace of God is a healthy, smart and beautiful little girl today. With nearly 4 million babies born each year, we have a lot of work to do to help them all. The funds I raise enable March of Dimes to support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference to families in our community and across the country. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.

WE NEED TO UNITE, CONNECT AND FIGHT FOR FAMILIES

With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

At March for Babies you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.

Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
