I’m walking in March for Babies and raising money because I care about healthy babies and because I know first hand how March for Babies can make a difference in the lives of the parents and babies they serve. July 17, 1994, I went into premature labor. At 12:30 am, on July 18, 1994, at 27 weeks, I gave birth to a 2 lb baby boy, Alexander McDaniel.
Because of the pioneering work done by March for Babies, he was given life saving medications and care that enabled him to survive and thrive. He is now a healthy, 22 year old senior at the University of North Texas. I know this cause is important to you, too.
Can you help me reach my goal by making a donation to my walk? It’s easy, just click through to my fundraising page. Your gift supports March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it’s used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
You can make a secure donation with your credit card, or, if you prefer, cash or a check is fine, too. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Chrischeryl McDaniel
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
