Hello family and friends, I hope you are doing well. Every year I try to raise money for a cause that I care deeply about- helping newborns beat prematurity, through the nonprofit organization March of Dimes. Two years ago I was able to raise $1000 with ALL YOUR HELP! Let's do it again! THIS IS MY PASSION. I want to become an OB/GYN and got involved with MOD 8 years ago because I figured that it was the best way I could help newborns without being a doctor just yet. They can't help themselves so let's help them instead! Are you wondering why we should help the babies? Today in the U.S., 1 in every 8 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. It is the #2 leading cause of fetal morbidity and mortality (after congenital anomalies) and yet we still have not figured out a way to prevent or cure it.
