Greetings and Blessings!
Year after year, I reach out—and year after year, you respond with generosity and heart. For more than three decades, I have had the honor of leading a team in support of the March of Dimes | March for Babies, and each year this mission remains deeply personal.
My wife, Denise, and I have been proud advocates of the March of Dimes for over 43 years. In 1983, while I was on duty at the Marine Corps Drill Field, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our daughter, Tinesha Bagwell. She now rests at the National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina. As a young military couple far from home, we faced that loss without the education, resources, and support that families receive today through the March of Dimes.
Our hope—our prayer—is that through the advocacy, education, and research of the March of Dimes, other parents will be spared the pain we endured. That belief fuels our continued commitment to this cause: fighting infant mortality, addressing premature birth, and ensuring that every baby has the healthiest possible start in life.
Supporting the March of Dimes is also our way of honoring Tinesha’s life—by helping mothers and babies thrive and by turning our loss into lasting purpose.

Thank you for standing with us—and for standing up for moms and babies.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
