Team Lucca honors our NICU warrior, Lucca, born at just 27 weeks at 2 lbs. 3 oz. He fought for his life during 79 days in the INOVA Fairfax NICU after an emergency c-section delivery caused by a severe and sudden case of preeclampsia that led to a complete placental abruption. Thankfully, quick action and incredible medical care saved both Lucca and his mom. We are forever grateful to the amazing staff at INOVA Fairfax and the resources provided by March of Dimes.
