Our journey with March for Babies is deeply personal. Our son, Lucas, was born at just 32 weeks, weighing only 3.5 lbs. He spent 18 days in the NICU, showing incredible strength every step of the way. Though he was on room air the whole time, he had to build his strength and size before coming home. Through it all, the hospital staff was amazing, supportive, and encouraging, and we know that March of Dimes research played a vital role in the knowledge and care that helped Lucas thrive.
We walk and fundraise to give other families the same hope, support, and medical advancements that helped us. Every dollar makes a difference in improving maternal and infant health, funding life-saving research, and supporting families through premature birth and complications.
