Debbian supports March for Babies

As an African American woman and a mom of three, I joined this movement because too many families who look like mine are facing preventable risks. African American women in the United States are three times more likely to die from pregnancy related causes, and African American babies are 50 percent more likely to be born preterm. These are not just statistics. They reflect the lived realities of mothers, babies, and communities who deserve better.

With preterm birth and maternal mortality rates continuing to rise, I am committed to raising funds to support research, strengthen families, and advocate for policies that create safer and healthier outcomes for every pregnancy.

But I cannot do this alone.

Please visit my fundraising page and make a donation. Your support helps us push for equity, expand lifesaving programs, and ensure that every mom and baby, regardless of race, zip code, or income, gets the strong start they deserve.

Together we can change the narrative and build a healthier and more just future for all families.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Thank you for your support!
