Sadly, there's hardly anyone who doesn't know somebody who either has had a preterm birth, was a preterm birth or during pregnancy underwent a pregnancy complication like preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc. As a national partner, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. is committed to support the efforts of the March of Dimes through our dollars and advocacy to ensure both good health and full-term births for all moms and babies. Each year, the March of Dimes also conducts research and advocates for legislation for key maternal and child health policy issues, the most recent being COVID-19 testing and priorities for expectant moms and increases in funding for Black maternal and infant health initiatives.
