On December 13, 2023, I gave birth to Jarrold Lashun Williams at 22 weeks and 6 days. It was later determined that my preterm labor was caused by an "incompetent cervix". Jarrold was not only born at a low birth weight but he, also, faced many medical challenges. Despite best efforts, on December 25, 2023, Jarrold passed away. For this reason, I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
