We are Team Barrett’s Buds, and we are so honored to walk in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies in Birmingham in support of our sweet miracle, Barrett.
Barrett was born extremely premature at just 26 weeks and has overcome more in his short life than most do in a lifetime. After spending a year in the NICU, he came home with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube — but he also came home with a heart full of joy, a smile that lights up every room, and a strength that inspires everyone who meets him.
Because of organizations like March of Dimes, families like ours receive education, advocacy, and support through the hardest days of prematurity and medical uncertainty. Their research, programs, and resources truly help save babies’ lives.
