With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
This topic is very dear to my heart, my sweet Amelia was born at 25 weeks and 3 days in October of 2024. My pregnancy was full of complications, a subchorionic hemorrhage, PPROM, a month long antepartum stay, magnesium drips, daily monitoring of Amelia’s well being and eventually placental abruption. Amelia’s first year was filled with the NICU, medical equipment, nurses, doctors, a docband, surgery, and many trips back to Houston for appointments. Through it all, she persevered. We march to celebrate her fighting spirit, we march so that no one else ever has to worry about their baby’s future, we march so that unnecessary premature birth will be just a part of history one day.
