I want to partner with March of Dimes because maternal and infant health is deeply personal to me. I have personally witnessed women—women I know and love—being treated poorly during childbirth, at one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. No mother should feel dismissed, unheard, or unsupported while bringing life into the world.
In addition, my sister gave birth to a premature baby who spent nine months in the hospital. Watching her navigate fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion while fighting for her child’s survival was life-changing. Today, that baby is thriving—but the journey revealed just how critical quality prenatal care, compassionate medical treatment, and research-based interventions are for both mothers and babies.
March of Dimes works to address the very issues I have seen firsthand: premature birth, maternal health disparities, and inequities in care—especially for Black women and babies. Supporting this organization allows me to turn personal experiences into purpose by advocating for healthier pregnancies, safer births, and better outcomes for families in our community.
This walk is not just a fundraiser—it is a statement that mothers deserve dignity, babies deserve a strong start, and families deserve support during their most fragile moments.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
