Family and Friends:
Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities.
For me, this is personal! On October 30, 1996, my niece, Avriel Yvette Clincy was one of those premature babies born at less than 5 lbs. The doctors said she would likely be developmentally delayed and suffer other consequences of her early arrival. But, as was God's will, Avriel is now a healthy, thriving professional criminal justice professional in Little Rock, AR. And like my sister and I, she is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and will be able to join other Zetas in our efforts to prevent premature births.
My goal this year is $660. Please help me and my sorority sisters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. raise funds for the March for Babies to support research that will save other babies' lives. Thank you in advance for your contribution!!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
