Every baby deserves a chance to thrive, a chance to dream. The March of Dimes stands on the front lines, ensuring that chance is given, even to the smallest warriors like our daughter, Margaret. Her journey from a precarious start at 1 lb. 10 oz. to a thriving, ambitious young woman now in her first year of college is a testament to the powerful life-changing impact of your support. I am forever grateful to the March of Dimes and to YOU!

As Margaret looks towards a bright future, filled with aspirations and achievements, it is clear to me the many many lives the March of Dimes has changed.  But we are reminded all too often by the impact of those close to us of the work that still needs to be done, of the adverse threats and impacts of prematurity.  There is still so much to be done.   

Because of Margaret's story, and the generous giving and support of you and others, I am now honored to be on the March of Dimes national Board of Trustees.  It's truly amazing to work alongside passionate leading doctors, researchers and other leaders committing their focus and resources to making this world better.   

As we gear up for the 2026 Chicago March for Babies, your donation can pave the way for groundbreaking research, advocacy, and support services that save lives and build healthy futures. 

You donors, people marching and organizations driving the Chicago March for Babies Sundany April 26th event at Montrose Harbor on the Chicago Lakefront are some of the very best people I know.  Thank you for your past amazing generosity and support!
