My Joshua was born 9 weeks pre-mature. I had a perfectly normal pregnancy until one day I didn't. Joshua weighed only 3 lb. 4 oz. at birth. He stayed in the NICU for a month. That in itself was a miracle! He weighed only 4 lbs. when he came home. He has continued to suffer from the effects of being a preemie. It has been a long road, and I am fighting so that other families do not have to go through this. The March of Dimes and their research saved his life.
