This is something I will be joining every year. As many of you know I gave birth to a premature baby. I was nearly 35 weeks in pregnancy before pre-eclampsia was a huge fear and started impacting my health and his. It was too dangerous for me to continue on with the pregnancy and I had to be induced early. It was terrifying, especially as a first time mother. Stefan was a strong boy! He needed a ng tube for feeding and was in the NICU for 11 days. Thankfully, Stefan's lungs were developed and didnt need any oxygen and he was breathing on his own. Today, nearly a year old, he is going strong! I couldnt thank Hinsdale NICU staff enough for their great care and teaching during that scary and nervous time.
