The day Aydin was born was a whirlwind of emotions—a day filled with love, fear, hope, and gratitude. My beautiful son came into this world far earlier than expected, at just 27 weeks and 4 days. Despite the challenges of his early arrival, we were incredibly fortunate that Aydin did not face any major complications. However, his journey into our arms was not without its trials. He spent nearly 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a place that became both a sanctuary and a source of anxiety as we awaited the day we could finally bring him home.

During those challenging months, we were blessed with excellent healthcare and a supportive network of doctors and nurses who provided Aydin with the best possible care. Our insurance helped alleviate the financial burden, allowing us to focus solely on Aydin's needs and not on the mounting costs of medical care. We were in a privileged position, but it became apparent that not everyone shared this experience.

This stark realization is why I am a dedicated supporter of the March of Dimes. Their mission to ensure that every mother and baby receives the care they need, regardless of their circumstances, resonates deeply with me. I have seen firsthand how critical early intervention and specialized care are for premature infants and their families. The work of the March of Dimes helps to bridge the gap for those who are not as fortunate, providing resources, funding research, and advocating for policies that improve the health of mothers and babies nationwide.

Supporting the March of Dimes is my way of giving back to a community that provided so much during our time of need. It is a way to honor Aydin's strength and the incredible care he received, and to ensure that other families can experience the same level of support and medical excellence. Every mother deserves the peace of mind that comes with knowing her child has access to the best possible start in life, and every baby deserves the chance to thrive, just like Aydin did.

Through my support for the March of Dimes, I hope to make a difference in the lives of mothers and babies who are facing the uncertainty of premature birth. It's a cause that is profoundly personal and deeply important to me, a testament to Aydin's journey and a commitment to helping others navigate their own.
