When our daughter was born at 32 weeks due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome, we didn't know what to expect. We didn't have time to prepare, and we didn't know what kinds of complications she might face. March of Dimes was there for us in the NICU with resources and support for us and families like ours. Fortunately, our daughter had a relatively uneventful NICU stay and she is now a thriving 10-month-old! We even made some friends in the NICU and we are excited to march together.
I would like to help March of Dimes support other NICU families as they navigate uncertain times, and also support the research to help improve maternal and infant health and decrease preterm birth.
