Artist Tyson

To Brother Artist Tyson, leadership isn't a title—it's making a difference. Introduced to Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., on March 16, 2024, he is now the chapter's Sergeant-at-Arms, keeping the order and the traditions of Alpha in honor. As a Political Science major and a Junior at Texas Southern University, Brother Tyson is pursuing a career in government service, where he will continue to devote his life to empowerment and advocacy.

Long before he was an Alpha Brother, Brother Tyson was shaping the college life at TSU. Working with the Student Government Association and University Program Council gave him the forum to make student voices heard and provide engaging relevant activity on campus. Today, as Mister Residential Life and Housing, he is a champion for student residents, building community and keeping campus life fun and open to all.

Brother Tyson's passion for service and leadership is not limited to the campus. His dedication to advocacy is matched by the mission of March of Dimes, an organization working towards improving the health of babies and mothers. As he promotes his fellow students, he promotes a better future for needy families, proving that the tenets of Alpha Phi Alpha—leadership, scholarship, and service—are not just slogans but a way of life.

Through his work within the fraternity, on campus, and across the globe, Brother Artist Tyson establishes a lasting legacy, fulfilling the spirit of excellence at Texas Southern University and ensuring his impact will be felt for generations to come.
