My son was born at just 24 weeks and 2 days due to an incompetent cervix, a condition that still doesn’t have a clear medical answer as to why it happens. It was one of the hardest experiences of my life, but the strength of my son, and the support I received, made all the difference. He fought so hard to survive, and through that, I saw firsthand the importance of having the right research, care, and support when you’re facing a premature birth.
