Why I walk

Spring is a round the corner and The March Of Dimes Walk will be here before we know it. Thanks to everyone's efforts last year, we were among the top 10 family teams of 2025.I'm walking in March for Babies and am writing to ask you to please sponsor me. Lucas was born at 30 weeks at 3 lbs 2 ozs. We weren't sure if Baby or Mommy would make it. Thanks to The March of Dimes and the Nurses and Doctors at LIJ, Lucas is a healthy and happy 14 year old boy. (Mommy is healthy too!) We will be forever grateful! THIS IS WHY WE WALK!For 80 years, the March of Dimes has helped babies get a healthy start in life. March for Babies makes this work possible. The money I raise will support programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and will fund research to prevent premature birth and birth defects. Will you please support me? I really believe that together, we can give more babies a healthy start in life.
