I march to demonstrate my love for my grandchildren, Colton, Mason, and Grace Hassfeld and Lola Pomi. All four were born premature. In December 2018, Colton was born at 25 weeks. After one week of life, we lost our sweet boy. Mason was born in August 2020 at 34 weeks. Grace was born in April 2022 at 34 weeks. After 4 weeks in the NICU, they were finally released to their loving parents. Mason and Grace are happy and thriving! Lola was born at 35 weeks. After her stay in the NICU, she was released and is now a happy and healthy 15 month old. We march to remember our terrible loss, and we march to celebrate our great successes. All babies have the right to live and thrive. We work with the March of Dimes to make sure all babies have a fighting chance.
The funds we raise for March of Dimes will support research, lead programs and provide education and advocacy that truly makes a difference.
