Our beautiful first little grand-daughter, Greta Forte, was born prematurely on September 9/22/17. She and her parents, our son Ryan Gintoft and his wife Amanda Gintoft, fought courageously to get her through the tender and challenging early weeks of her life. Sadly, she was unable to survive the odds of premature birth and died on October 9, 2017. Her death was a deep blow to her mom and dad and so many of us. As Ambassadors for the March of Dimes, they've embodied Greta's tenacious spirit have fought hard on behalf of her and all babies lost to increasing premature birth and it's complications. We are moved beyond words by their grief and love of Greta and their determination to transform her loss into meaningful action.
