Gavin and Wyatt were born at 22 weeks and 2 days in June 2023 after unexplained premature rupture of membranes and an infection that put all three of our lives at risk. Gavin and Wyatt spent 164 days in the NICU and had many challenges to overcome along the way. Gavin and Wyatt are currently 2.75 years old, and blossoming beautifully in their own time.
Gavin was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy in December of 2024 and is working diligently every day to stand and walk independently. He cruises right along trying to keep pace with his wild brother! Wyatt is currently still the smallest baby to have their PDA closed in the cardiac catheter lab at Boston Children’s Hospital. Due to that device, his LPA (left pulmonary artery) didn’t have space to grow and required a stent. He’ll be having his stent upsized this year!
