I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
My son was born at 35 weeks due to a condition that caused natural labor to be very dangerous. Without proper diagnosis, 95% of babies do not survive labor. Without the support of my wonderful doctors and the NICU nurses, I could have had a very different outcome. My son was in the NICU for ten days, and without the support of all these amazing people, he may not be here. ALL women and babies should have the same access to the amazing care I received.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
