Having reached my 75th birthday, Lord knows I'm not a baby anymore! But I still need to keep moving and what better way to get the old bones in shape than Marching for Babies! But I need your help to motivate me when my old carcass begins to complain on that last mile.
The crew of the USS Challenger, Cleveland Chapter of the International Federation of Trekkers, has been taking part in the March for Babies since 2007 as one of our many annual charitable missions. Whether you donate to my personal page or our USS Challenger-IFT team page, YOU become an honorary Starship Officer for the day in support of mothers everywhere and neonatal health.
I joined the Babies March to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
PLEASE donate to my walk in support of the March of Dimes March for Babies. I live in the West Park area of Cleveland and Fairview Hospital has a marvelous NICU – neonatal intensive care unit – and many community residents work there. They are front line, life saving heroes everyday on the job. . Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy. Live Long and Prosper!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
