When our son was born at 30 weeks and had to spend two long months in the NICU, our world suddenly felt very small and very uncertain. During that time, March of Dimes became a source of comfort and support for our family. Through their resources, encouragement, and advocacy for premature babies and their families, we felt less alone in a situation that many people do not fully understand.
The NICU journey can be overwhelming, filled with emotions, questions, and constant worry. Their commitment to improving the health of moms and babies, supporting NICU families, and funding research for premature birth made us feel like our baby’s fight mattered beyond the hospital walls.
