Why I walk

Right now, babies need all the help they can get. Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies here in the United States. Some babies never make it to the NICU. This includes my beloved Zion.  Zion was lost in the womb June 2016. Losing Zion was the most difficult thing i have ever faced.  One year later I experienced my second loss of Baby Ayah (Sept 2017). I am one of the blessed one's who came out on the other side when I delivered King; a healthy Rainbow baby in 2018. While I know that many other women will experience loss through premature birth and miscarriage,  I’m walking in March for Babies to help improve research and health care and you can help.

For several years, I have walked in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies as a form of support.  Now, it's personal. This year we walk in honor of the babies I've loved and lost. Please make a secure donation to help me reach my goal. Together we can help the March of Dimes fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest start possible.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Thank you for your support!
