Premature birth has affected my family since I was 2, when my younger sister was born at 29 weeks. From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to care for babies. I became a NICU nurse to make a difference in the lives of babies and their families. I march for babies so that we can fund the research necessary to support these families!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
