I walk because many years ago two loving parents had to spend countless amount of hours in the hospital worrying and caring for their 3 pound 2 ounce newborn son. I walk to be an inspiration to those like myself who decided to start life sooner than expected. I walk to encourage parents like mine to persevere. I walk to prove to the world to never underestimate a preemie! I'm proud that I beat the odds then and I continue to beat the odds now!
