I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. 

Rosie Mae was born at 26 weeks weighing 2lbs and just 12.75 inches long.  She faced breathing troubles had a minor brain hemorrhage, hole in her heart and battled a severe infection near her airway even before we got to meet her.  By the grace of God and the wonderful people that are using their God given gifts to help babies like Rosie, we have a precious miracle girl! She spent 104 days in the hospital at Brenner’s and came home on oxygen with pulse ox and apnea monitors.  Since then, we have been released from care for neurology, pulmonology and cardiology. She completed her three years of follow up with Amos Cottage where doctors stated that she caught up to her actual age rather than corrected age by age 15 months for developmental skills, of course we had a ways to go on the physical growth part to catch up! We are out to one year checkups for ophthalmology and otolaryngology. We are so grateful for the wonderful team of doctors that provided Rosie with the best care! The love those sweet nurses and doctors showed her means so much to us!  Rosie was born September 3, 2020, came into foster care while hospitalized on October 12, 2020, we were able to meet her for the first time on November 16, 2020 and she came home December 15, 2020.  Rosie’s adoption was final July 15 2022 - we are so very thankful for the NICU staff that loved our daughter before we even knew she was born!
