We joined the March of Dimes movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere—especially those most at risk.
With rising rates of preterm birth and maternal mortality, we are committed to raising funds to help every family get the best possible start. Our story is deeply personal; all three of our children were born unexpectedly early and increasingly premature.
Henry, Patrick, and Catherine were born at 34 weeks & 6 days, 29 weeks & 3 days, and 26 weeks respectively. Our close proximity to the world class care in the Beth Israel NICU is what saved Patrick's life after a difficult early delivery. Three years later, the same team at Beth Israel took exceptional care of Catherine who was born 14 weeks early at an incredibly fragile 1lb 13oz. Patrick and Catherine were resilient preemie fighters from day one and we rode the NICU rollercoaster for a combined 189 days.
We are forever grateful for the exceptional care we received at Beth Israel and we know not all families have access to this level of maternal and neonatal support.
