This is my 20th year walking with March of Dimes! This is my legacy year and I'm so excited to continue to walk for the cause!
Today in the U.S., 1 in every 8 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives. As many of you know, I have been doing this walk since 2004. Once I started working at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, I was even more impressed by what this walk is about. The Angel 2 is the transport that Grady uses to pick up newborn babies who need to be transported to Grady for very specialized care and it is funded by the March of Dimes. Now, as a mom of a premature baby, I'm even more grateful for the research that March of Dimes helps fund. I really believe in the March of Dimes. No matter what amount you are able to donate, every bit helps!
