I walk for March for Babies because my journey into motherhood didn’t go as planned. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, and Elijah was induced early on Super Bowl Sunday (sorry Michael) at just 34 weeks.
In those moments, I was scared, unsure if I had done something wrong, and overwhelmed by the unknowns ahead. During that difficult time in the hospital, March of Dimes kept appearing in my searches and became a source of comfort and reassurance when I needed it most.
This event now means so much to me. It gives families like mine a space to share our stories, find support, and celebrate just how far we’ve come.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
