I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
I was inspired to lead this team after our daughter, Rosie, was born 6 weeks early due to complications in my pregnancy. On top of preeclampsia with severe features, I also had severe anemia, and a very rare form of gestational diabetes(called diabetes insipidus).
Rosie was born at 4lb, but she showed us what a real warrior looks like. She may have been tiny, but she fought every day. We spent 19 days basically living in the NICU (which was located an hour away from us). Rosie's had amazing nurses, neonatologists, pediatric cardiologists, and feeding specialists. We owe them so much for the compassionate care they provided to our little fighter. If we, as a family could get through those 19 days, we can make it through anything. We will be walking with big smiles to celebrate our Rosie and fundraise for families that are in a similar position.
We are all here for you, baby, and we love you endlessly! #TeamRosiesToesies
