I joined this movement because I believe every mom and baby deserves a fair, healthy, and supported start, no matter who they are or where they live.

Yes, the rates of preterm birth and maternal mortality are rising, and that is heartbreaking. But the need goes even deeper. Too many families face barriers to quality care. Too many moms feel unseen, unheard, and unsupported. And far too many babies are born into systems that fail to protect them.

This is about more than statistics.

• It is about closing the gap in healthcare access for families in underserved communities.
• It is about addressing racial and ethnic disparities that continue to put Black, Indigenous, and Latino mothers and babies at higher risk.
• It is about ensuring mental health support for moms before, during, and after pregnancy.
• It is about advocating for paid family leave, safe birthing environments, and access to proper nutrition and prenatal education.

I am raising funds because I believe every family, regardless of background, zip code, or income, deserves the best possible start.
