I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help.
In 2020 after struggling with infertility and going through the process multiple times of IUI and IVF, I was successful in getting pregnant. I unfortunately lost the baby at 8 weeks. Later in 2020 I did another IVF transfer. I was successful again. My pregnancy took a turn at 31 weeks when I developed severe preeclampsia. I was put on full bed rest and told I wasn’t leaving the hospital until I had the baby. We tried to make it to 34 weeks, but I was only successful in making it to 32 weeks 5 days when the preeclampsia became life threatening for the baby & I. I gave birth to my son almost 2 months early. He then spent 31 days in the NICU. This was the scariest experience of my life. I had another IVF transfer in 2022, spent my pregnancy as a high risk patient & gave birth this time 1 month early. I was blessed my second born spent only 2 days in the NICU. Because of my pregnancy and birthing experiences this foundation means a lot to me.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
