In 2010, my wife Natalya and I went through the devastating loss of our son, John Edwin Thoms. In his memory, we have joined the movement to bring about positive change for moms and babies worldwide, especially those most at risk. Every year, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Omicron Alpha Lambda Chapter partners with the March of Dimes to promote healthy pregnancies so that other parents never have to endure the pain we did.
Unfortunately, preterm birth and maternal death rates are on the rise, which is why I am deeply committed to raising funds to ensure that every family can have the best possible start. However, I cannot do this alone and need your help.
