We are participating in the March for Babies walk again to honor the memory of our sweet, beautiful, firstborn grandson Jackson Rhys Battista.  His parents, Stephanie and Kevin were fortunate to be able to spend 18 amazing days with him before losing him unexpectedly to sepsis. This was something they had no previous knowledge of even though Jackson had spent a couple days in the NICU. We want to raise awareness and continue to honor Jackson's life through events like these. 

We joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. I was blessed to have 4 healthy children, and for that, I will always be eternally grateful.  Sadly, my daughter Steph and many other Mommies are not as lucky.  We want to bring awareness to newborn sepsis and blood infections, something that occurs more often than we ever knew. The heartbreak of losing Jackson and watching his parents grieve this loss has been unbearable.  We are honoring our beloved Jackson Rhys by helping to raise funds and bringing awareness to critical issues affecting moms and babies from prematurity and health equity to maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. We're committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But we need your help.
