I am passionate about creating a better future for moms and babies! It is not acceptable that that the US is one of the most danger places in the developed world to give birth. It is not acceptable that over 10% of our babies are born premature each year. It is not acceptable that over 36% of our counties are maternal care deserts. Lastly, it is not acceptable that people of color are 3-4x more likely to die of childbirth related complications than Caucasians. I walk because this movement can create positive change for moms and babies everywhere! Health equity gaps for women are not OK.
