It is that time again! The Cable Family will be virtually walking in honor of the 60+ babies in the NICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and in memory of the special babies that gained their wings over the last year.
As a NICU nurse for almost 17 years, I have met so many little angels that arrive into this world earlier than expected or not as smoothly as anticipated. I am blessed to get to know these babies and it is so rewarding when they get healthier after weeks or months in the hospital and are able to go home with their families.
