I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which caused an emergency C-section, and then HELPP syndrome after Landon was born. Landon was born 8 weeks early and spent 27 days in the NICU. We are walking in support to help understand what causes preeclampsia and to bring awareness and resources to those affected by a premature birth.
Landon is doing awesome and has no lasting effects from being born premature. Not every baby or mom is that lucky.
