On Sunday, April 26th, I’ll be walking in the March for Babies—and this one is personal.
I’m not just participating. I’m walking as a mom of two preterm babies.
Today, both of my sons are over 6 feet tall—strong, thriving young men. But their story didn’t start that way.
My youngest, Bryce, spent nearly two weeks in the NICU and came home on a monitor. If you’ve ever brought a baby home like that, you already know—there’s nothing “normal” about those first days. It’s overwhelming, it’s scary, and you’re constantly holding your breath.
And the truth is, without the doctors and nurses who cared for them, my story could look very different.
That’s why this matters to me.
The March for Babies supports families like mine—families who need expert care, support, and hope during some of the most uncertain moments of their lives.
So this Sunday, I walk in gratitude. I walk in honor of the journey. And I walk for every parent still in the middle of theirs.
If this cause speaks to you, I’d love your support—whether that’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping these families in your thoughts.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
