Here we are in year number EIGHT marching for babies! My life was forever changed on May 7th 2017, born a fighter Becca has amazed me every step of the way. When she was first born we were warned that she would likely have significant physical and developmental delays, and each year she grows and learns and shatters those expectations we had for her life.
Becca continues to thrive. Now in 3rd grade she wants to be a conservation biologist when she grows up - she dreams of living in the rainforest with the animals. She has a dance recital next month in both lyrical and ballet. She was a defensive force on the basketball court this winter and continues to be adventurous on her skis. She is kind, empathetic, creative, and hilarious.
Ben has absolutely come into his own in kindergarten. He is a burgeoning reader with the mind of an engineer taking on Lego instructions beyond his years and was vital in the assembly of our new gas grill. He is kind, curious, energetic and has a sharp whit. Skiing really clicked for him this year and he made his first runs down the whole mountain riding the quad all the way up!
Each year we come together in love and support of all the families affected by prematurity, infant loss, and infertility. We raise awareness and money for the cause in honor of Rebecca Grace. We give thanks for this incredible family we have.
