I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Black women consistently have the highest maternal mortality rates, regardless of income or education level. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that our Sisters' maternal death rate is 4 x higher than that of Asian and Hispanic women and 3 x higher than that of white women!
