Charlotte’s longtime bestie, Emma, was born at 25 weeks weighing only 1 lb 12 oz. After a long NICU stay at UNC, we met her spunky, silly self at 15 months old in the toddler room at daycare. I remember Charlotte coming home the first day and babbling on about “Emma.”
Emma’s family is the Ambassador Family for the local March for Babies walk this year. We’re joining their team and walking on May 9th for babies like Emma, those who never made it home, and healthy starts for all moms and babies.
If you feel led to support this wonderful cause, please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
