Why I walk

Our Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta (ZPhiB), is a leading national organization in the prevention of premature births.  We have worked with March of Dimes(MOD) since 1971 in the develoment of "Stork's Nests."  The Members of Beta Phi Zeta Chapter of ZPhiB reopened our Stork's Nest in 2016 in The Town of Langston City as we serve Logan County and  other locales.  Mothers-to-Be are invited to complete six virtual Pre-natal education sessions. The curriculum is developed by MOD and focuses on healthy preganancies.  Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies in the United States. The percentage of Premature Births is  higher and on the raise in the African-American community.  We are walking in the March for Babies to get the message out about this terrible problem. Our family members and friends can help. by    making a secure donation to help us reach my goal. Together we can help the March of Dimes fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest possible start.

When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Thank you for your support!
